DECO AC1200   iphone and ipad auromatic connection was easy and good. 

my HP laptop asked for the security code on the Deco device and i typed it in several ways and times including with dashes between numbers , upper case lower case etc. 

Each time not recognised. 

 

Can you first confirm that the passcode is the one that looks like  MAC:68-FF-7B-99-.......etc? 

 

Second why will my laptop not connect? What can I do?

Hi,

Generally, the security code is the wireless password, not the MAC address. If you have typed the MAC address before, you can try the wireless password of your Deco network and check if it will work.
