Hope for some help. I purchased this dongle adaptor for PC and new wireless setup. The first day it worked well. Now I can hardly open pages and speed tests show bad results. I went into the network connection details in PC and can see it actively receiving tons of variable data/ up to 52mps from new wirless modem in other room. But speed tests on PC show receiving max of 3.5 mbs today for instance.

Anyone have an idea why the data being received by dongle is being strangled in real use?

Is worse than my old copper setup as is.

PC has plenty of grunt and spare memory and disc space and has been cleaned. Tks

for your case, please help us get the following information:

What Is the hardware version of the adapter?—you could check on the device label
Can I have some pictures which show’ see it actively receiving tons of variable data/ up to 52mps from the new wireless modem in other rooms But speed tests on PC show receiving max of 3.5 mbs today for instance.’
Please also check the link speed on the computer, such as https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2265/
If possible, please try to modify the main router’s wife setting to reduce the Wi-Fi interference: like channel 11 and channel width 40mhz for 2.4ghz; channel 48 and channel width 80mhz for 5ghz;
