Archer MR600(EU) V1 - BETA Firmware - Allowing selection of 4G+bands for Archer MR600 manually

Hi all,
Following the long thread on the same subject discssing the BETA FW, as I said I would, TPLink have given me permission to share the FW download llink.
From TPLink - We recently released a beta firmware for Archer MR600(EU) V1 which can allow us to select 4G+bands for Archer MR600 manually.
https://static.tp-link.com/2020/202004/20200420/Archer_MR600v1_1.1.0_0.9.1_[200417-rel75138]_up_boot_2020-04-20_08.44.31.zip
For Archer MR600, if you want to use its 4G+network, your SIM card should support the CA bands group Archer MR400 supports. Please check the attached picture and check if your SIM card supports the band groups on the list or not.
They asked me to state that, this BETA FW is for the Archer MR600(EU) V1 ONLY!
Neither TPLink nor me take any respnsbility if you flash a none-EU router.

just for information: even you can select 2 bands. that doesnt mean they will stay. im facing issues for band 20+3. after about 1 hour its automatically switching to 3+3.. (country: austria - provider: a1 telekom)

Just wandering, if you put this SIM card into a phone, or into another LTE router, will it work at band 20+3 stably?
Are there other band selection available in the a1 telekom network?

Today I flashed beta firmware provided. Initially it worked as expected but the situation now is the following
The chosen frequency bands are reversed resulting in a performance drop (band 7 is the one that offers the best download performances).During time I found that my sim works with following bands: 7,3 3,7 20,1 20,3 Any Idea how to fix this?

hi kevin, sorry for my late reply! the simcard is working perfectly when using band 20+3 - doesnt matter if the sim is in a phone or in a different router (huawei for example)
sure there are more band selection options for a1 telekom austria but unfortunately not in my area. there is just one transmitter mast, and that thing is only supporting band 20+3

Good afternoon,
We urgently need this functionality to be done in the official version.
Since with this beta version I fix the problem of selecting the band, on the other hand I am experiencing problems in making a meshed connection.
It seems to me such an absurd change and already developed in the beta that only unlocking it in the Release Candidate would be worth it.
I am happy with this router, but at the moment I reject the fact of continuing to mount it, due to this deficiency.
What do I do if I need good speed and a good onemesh network.
This situation is absurd.

if in my area there is only one bts with B3 nearby, and one bts with B3 and B20 far enough away, should I put the beta firmware or do I put the update that the rooter asks me directly?in the end there are only those two bands, he cannot choose others.
Eventually (I'm with beta fireware) how should I update, manualmente o in automatico dalle impostazioni del rooter?

Hi abhi,
I am stuck with TPLINK MR600 V1. Looking for an alternate 4G+ router which should work with Airtel 40A + 40A. I saw you post it looks my search has ended. Can you please suggest where did you bought Huawei B525s-65a LTE router and whats the cost? Any caveats? I hope it works well with Airtel. I am from Mumbai and tupically i get 40Mb speed on my mobile with Airtel 4G+. Since MR600 V1 doesnt support 40A + 40A CA, the speed is really limited to 10-15 mb only.
looking forward for your reply.

Why latest beta seems newer (as date) then stock firmware ma seems based on "old" base version (1.1.0_0.91) the stock version (1.2.0:0.9.1)
Stock firmware
Stock firmware= 11.05.2020
File name = Archer_MR600v1_1.2.0_0.9.1_xx
then base version is 1.2.0_0.9.1
Beta firmware
Date = 04.12.2020
File name = Archer600_v1_1.1.0_0.9.1_xxx
Then base version is 1.1.0_091
What's this mismatch?

Kevin comment on 1st week of Feb: We have reported this to the R and D team, and will push them to release a new official firmware to fix the band selection feature you are requesting. Please keep an eye on the official website for any new firmware updates.
Is any update on this Kevin, When we can expect official firmware fixing all the existing issue, its almost a year right? where we started reporting issues with MR600V1 and really you guys considering and providing a fixed package as an official release?
I really bit not happy with TPLink support now for 10 years I had a good opinion on TpLink products. Sorry to say this but that's most of the user opinion also I can see considering its a bit expensive product too.
Thanks for the understanding and I would like to have feedback on this.
