I wanted to use the POE profile to label the ports so I could identify the item at the end of the cable.

The POE profiles are limited to 10 but the switch I have has 28 ports.

Is there any other way to do what I would like?

Port config support to add description for each port. Could it meet your demand?

Thanks for the info, that will do what I want. Much better than using POE profile.
