Hello, after you changed a new router, you need reconfigure the TL-WA850RE to make it work. First, you need hard reset it by holding the reset hole for 1s with the extender powered on. Then you can follow the instruction below to configure it. https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/698/ May it help.
