Hello, below is the compatibility list of Tether app.

https://www.tp-link.com/tether_compatibility_list/

 

The TL-WR850N is not included, there is why you cannot find this model with Tether app.

The TL-WR850N is not included, there is why you cannot find this model with Tether app.

Not sure, but considering it is the specific device designed as ISP's request, no much possibility here. 

 

While you can keep an eye on official website for the updates.
