Dears,

I have a configured WiFi router in my home TP-WR841n Ver. 9.3. I want to extend my network with another router, therefore i bought anther TP-WR841n(US) Ver 14.1.

I googled how to extend the network using WDS but on the new router i couldn't find the option Enable WDS in order to perform to connect and Extend the network.

Should i use the option Range Extender in Quick setup? or is there any other solution to connect my routers via a cable to extend the network. I prefer to connect the routers via cables so can someone advise or help perform the procedure.

The TL-WR841N supports multiple operation modes. including range extender/repeater mode.

You can change it to range extender/repeater mode and connect it to the main router to boost the wifi.
