I have issues with wifi signal stability, my previous w8951nd had a bit lower signal but was more stable, moreover was faster in starting and web page loading, i'm not very satisfied with your product, don't u think need a firmware upgrade?

What is the light status of the TD-W8961N when wifi disconnected?
With your computer or smart phone connected to it at that time, what is the IP address and default gateway it obtained? And can you get internet from it by ethernet connection?

I resolved, now is ok, evidently the router (firmware), needed to stabilize a little.
