@Hrohibil

Do you mean you can connect to the C3150 via the Openvpn, while cannot access the web UI with the LAN IP address?

Have you ever tried to enable remote management and then access it? Does it work?

Nice day.

Kevin

yes when I am let’s say at my office, far away and I turn on OpnVPN, I can connect to everything in the LAN except for the router UI (192.168.0.1).

I get a 403 forbidden message.

Yes if I check the box for remote management then it works, but I don’t want this open/enabled for security reasons.

But even with remote management disabled I can connect to the routers UI through 192.168.0.1 when I VPN into my Synology NAS!!

Based on security issue, the remote management need to be enabled to access the web UI when you connect to the OPVN; otherwise, it will be detected as an invalid request from a different subnet.

You can verify the hardware version of the Archer C3150, the V2 supports remote management via Tether app.

Nice day.
