Archer C6 2.4G band stops working, disable then enable restores

Recently purchased Archer C6 Router running the latest firmware. On 4 occasions the 2.4G WiFi band has stopped working, devices can connect to it but get no network access. Disabling and enabling the 2.4G band on the admin interface restores the connectivity, the 5G band is not affected, a device connected to it is used to reset the 2.4G band.
I used the chat support service to discuss the issue and the suggestion was to change from automatic to a fixed channel for the 2.4G band, this appeared to resolve the issue but it has happened again today, a phone which only works on 2.4G was showing the WIFI as access denied.
is there anything else I can do to resolve this issue.

Yesterday, I installed different network analysis tools and noticed that my ISP's modem and the TP-Link router shared many channels.
In result, I performed the following modifications, and so far, things seem to be working well:
- Changed channel width from auto to 20 MHz.
- Changed channel from auto to 1.
If something will still malfunction, I will consider adjusting the Version, Encryption and Mode, but for now, I will leave them with the default settings.
Alternatively, I will give a call to my ISP to modify some of the modem's settings since I do not have the access to its control panel.

Great finding, that's why we suggest you run a Wi-Fi analyzer to check out whether there are too much interferences in the network. I hope this will help fix the disconnect issue in your network.

The new official firmware which optimizes the wireless performance will be available soon, so you can try the beta version we provided here to check if the issue is fixed. We do receive some customer's feedback that the issue was fixed with the beta firmware by disabling the Onemesh feature on the Archer C6. So give it a try if you still keep your Archer C6.

@Kevin_Z Which is that beta firmware? As far as I know disabling OneMesh feature is not available with this version.

You can find it on the first page of this thread, which is marked as a Recommended Solution (#549).
