hi;
I would like the ability to turn of wifi at night such that there is no wifi at all.
in Tp links general routers you can switch off wifi.
can this be implemented in the deco M4 (or deco family)?
thanks

I hope that there is a new firmware update ASAP for the Deco M5 router, which includes the function to switch off the router. as the router is in my kid's room, its inconvenient that I need to unplug the router every night. tks

Hello Community,
just wondering - TPLink said the "base" feature of having Wifi Schedule on M4R devices will be implemented with the next firmware ;) As i see .. yesterday i got the new one - which is listening to the beautiful Name "1.4.0 Build 20200628 Rel. 48846"
But still - no Wifi Schedules possible.
Dont get me Wrong - i always was into TP-Link as i really appreciate the Products - no matter if it comes to routers, lte modems, Powerlines and even Meshsystems.
But still dont understand why such a basic feature (which can be found on allmost every Powerline or Mesh device) isnt avail on our beloved Deco M4
And nah ;) i wont buy a M5 or M9 just to get a basic feature like that :)
Right now i help myself with wifi sockets on every deco (i got the 3 pack) which i would like to use for a more senseful purpose - an not just to cut decos off wire at night
TP-Link - can you probably announce the feature in one of the next firmwareupdates?

Dear Kevin or Other Supporters! In this topic: https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/164664 You mentioned - M4 Deco will get turn off wifi at night function. Today i installed 2 M4 deco and unfortunatelly i can't find it. That will be very helpfull to disable wifi automatically at night. Pleaes help for me and others to get this update as soon as possible. Lot of cheaper "router" know this. My email addr: tamas.lang@outlook.com please send your feedback to me! Thank you in advance! Hello, thanks for requesting.
The wireless schedule feature is not available yet, and it is suggested to wait for the updates, which won't be long now.
As you know, it is not always easy to release a new firmware as our developers need to evaluate the feasibility and do round and round tests to ensure its performance. I believe that you want a new firmware which is more powerful and much more suitable for most requests.
Thanks.

You've been saying this feature is "coming soon" for at least a year. When is "soon"? I realize it is probably more complex of a feature than on a normal solo router, but I know many other mesh wifi systems have this feature, and you already have automation settings that have schedules built in. Why is this so hard? I've bought many tp-link products in the past, but this run around you're giving your loyal customers for a seemingly simple update is ridiculous and is making me think I should look elsewhere for my wifi products.

Hello, sorry for keeping you waiting for a basic feature on the Deco device. You would think it would be simple and straight forward but it's not.
Anyway, this feature is already in the developing process and it would be added in the near future to the Deco products on a rolling basis.
Hope you could understand and be more patient. Good day.

Hi
Do you know when this firmware update will be released to disable the entire wifi in the house? I have 4 M9 at home and hope I can easily disable them through app.
Thanks,
GL
