Trying to connect Archer C7 (AC1750) wirelessly to Netgear cable gateway modem. I bought the wifi router because the cable gateway didn't reach the other end of my house.

 

I've had them connected by ethernet for a while but I want to move the wifi router to another part of the house if possible. Anyone know where I can get instructions?

Hi,

 

What is the hardware version of the C7? You can check whether it supports WDS bridge function, if so, you can connect it to the gateway router by wireless to extend the wifi range; otherwise, you need connect it to the gateway by wired cable to make it work. 

 

Note:Even though the router supports WDS function, we cannot guarantee that it will work with the gateway or its performance cause there may have some limitations.
