VR900_usb_drive keeps disconnecting

Hi,

I have a VR900 router and I have a usb hdd plugged in. The problem is the harddrive doesn't always show up on my windows 10 laptop.

I have mapped it as a network drive on my machine but sometimes its just unavailable.
.

It is visible as a media device but not under computer section.

Its always visible in the router.

Any ideas?

Hi,

what do you mean it does not always show up on your computer？ Cannot it be accessed with the Windows 10 computer sometimes?

What about other devices on the same network? Can they access the network drive?

Cause Its always visible in the router, the USB sharing function should be working fine, so the computer itself may be the root cause.

Besides, what is the format and capacity of the HDD? What kind of USB sharing function you enabled?
