Firmware Version:

Our Internet provider advised that our TP Link Archer C9 - 5G Router has 2 Antennas and one middle antenna is missing. He said without it we will not get 5G.

 

So we are looking for one additional 5G Antenna.

 

Please advise if we get a spare antenna for this router at cost. We will pay by Credit Card. Thanks and appreciate your prompt action.

Hi,

 

As you can see, there are 3 dual band detachable antennas, and with middle one missing, the other 2 still work and the 5GHz are still in use.

Meanwhile, the 5GHz will work even though there is no antenna attached; The antenna is used to improve/strengthen the transmitting power / receiving power.

 

For the missing antenna, you can contact the local tech support whether they have additional one. Contact info is support.mea@tp-link.com
