Hello all, i am planning to buy a new ac router for my home and almost had the archer c60 finalised. Its a great router with mu-mimo support as well but i have some doubts.

The wifi speeds on both the bands are great but the wan port is only 10/100 which means that if i have an internet connection faster than that it would be of no use.

Is this true or not?

And if it is than what is the benefit of such great WiFi speeds?

You are correct. Limit would be 100. https://www.tp-link.com/la/home-networking/wifi-router/archer-c60/#specifications

Thanks for the reply bro. So then its all just marketing gimmick. Oh damn. I almost fell for it. Ordered archer ac1200 c6. Much better option with gigabit support and with minimal price difference.

Hi,

Sorry for confusing casued.

Yes, archer c60 is a AC wireless router with Ethernet port limited up to 100Mbps. A higher wireless associated speed can make sure a more stable wireless connection. If you have a very good bandwidth over 100Mbps from your ISP (Internet provider) end, it is suggested to consider a Gigbits router like Archer C6, Archer C9, etc.

Good day!
