Can we extend the wifi reception range of any router using an extended roof antenna

What is the model number of your product?
Generally speaking, the extended root antenna is kind of outdoor antenna, the connector may not match the device. And it may not help to exted the wifi range.
Instead, we can try to chnage some wireless settings, like wireless channel, wirelss channel width, adjsut the position of the antenna and router to improve the wifi signal and range.
