Hi, here is the situation:

I am planning on buying Archer C6.

If I set:

LAN IP Address = 192.168.0.1

Subnet Mask= 255.255.254.0

Can I set IP Address Pool: 192.168.0.10 to 192.168.1.254 ?

Hello, FYI, the 192.168.0.10-192.168.1.254 are different subnet, which cannot be satisfied on the C6.

Besides, may I know why do you need more than 254 IP address?

I got more than 254 users than connect via wired and wireless. If I use 255.255.255.0 subnet, there won't be sufficient IP Address. That why I need to use 255.255.254.0 subnet.

This setting is doable on model Archer C1200 V1

Hello, Jimmy, Archer C1200 cannot handle so many clients; the recommended clients is 25 to ensure the performance. Hope you understand.

Hello Kevin. Noted. But is it possible to set more than 254 IP Addresses in the DHCP Setting?

Hi, Jimmy, I'm afraid not, besides, considering its capacity, it is not necessary to set more than 254 IP addresses in DHCP pool
