Are they both the same except for passthrough power socket in PA9020P?
Can I mix and match both types and get the same performance as using all of one type?

Yes the difference is that PA9020P is passthrough. It's OK to mix and match both types. They are of the same standard, no difference in performance in theory.
Which kit would be better/is faster? Is passthrough better?
