Archer VR900v Security and "Childprotection" settings don't work

Hello everybody,

I am using the archer VR900v as DSL-router with Telekom and DECT telephone base.
Everything seems to work fine.
Internet ok and fast
[*]Telephones work
[*]LAN and WLAN are available and can be connected to.

So far so good.

I was rather happy that all settings seemed to work on first try, but:

The security options do not apply reliantly.

I had put onto the blacklist a fileserver that NEVER is allowed to access the internet.
Today I have taken it out to have windows updated and put it onto the blacklist again afterwards. It remained having access to the internet, not even rebooting the router helped.
Now, 90min later, it all of a sudden is blocked from accessing the internet. Fine that it is. But why with that delay?

I also meet this phenomena with the "Kindersicherung", i.e. Childprotection:
I had set up a timetable with everyday allowing the children to access the internet from 17 to 18 o'clock. Saved and done.
Problem: one day it works another day it doesn't.
This morning I met all computers having access to the internet.
Settings in the router are unchanged.

What I already have set up:
All computers have fixed IPs
Some are on the blacklist.
"Kindersicherung" is activated

Looking forward to your ideas!

Thanks
Phulc

Sorry folks,

did I ask my question somehow wrong?
Or is the topic uninteresting/not relevant/too difficult?

I wonder whether this was the right company to buy a router from. The support does not answer either ...
