I am using TL-WR840 this model but wifi range is very low, My line speed is 12mb and I use just a laptop and a blackberry phone but if I cross 10 meter my device show out of range. why I feel this problem. The same router using my brother but his capacity around 40+ meter.

have you tried other fixed wireless channel? or try to adjust the angle of antenna to help you get better signal.

The firmware version you are using has some bugs so the range is less, you should update the firmware and the problem will be solved or else you contact tp-link router customer support

Router range depends on many factors. Make sure antennas are attached well, try changing antena angles and most importantly, don't put it in the corner.Try to place router in open area, with less or perfectly no barriers
