Hi guys,
Question as the title. I can't get this range extender to act as an access point when I wire it to my router. Seems surprising it wouldn't work as it can connect to the router wirelessly and perform exactly the same function. Could anyone verify?

Hi Jon,
I learned from tp-link support that this model RE580D do not support access point mode, some other model.such as RE350 , TL-WA860RE( V2 ) , RE450( V1 ) , RE400, do

Thanks, unfortunately it won't even work as a fully wired switch either. Oh well, not a major issue even if it's a strange omission.. I've been very pleased with it otherwise.
