randomly dropping connection [partially resolved]
Region : Germany
Model : TL-SG1008D
Hardware Version : V5
Firmware Version :
ISP : UnityMedia
I am randomly every 1-2h getting a 1s disconnect with this switch. Currently I am only using my PC at the switch, mainly because of the dcs.
At the other end is a Cisco EPC3208G Modem. Getting no dcs without the switch.
At some point i changed the cables and it worked fine until I unplugged one cable, to connect my raspi (don't have enough long cables). since then I have those same disconnects again.
I just saw that i used port 8 and 7, are there any special ports or are they all equal ?
edit: ok, it isn't the switch and it weren't the cables. there are only 3 posibilities left: my mainboard, the modem and my ISP
I plugged again directly into the modem for a longer period and still get the dcs, that they started at the time I installed the switch was just a coincidence.
