Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.8

When asking alexa to show tapo camera on firestick 4k, the picture is blocky, even the time stamp is blocky...

 

Viewed on echo show 5 and 8 is clear

Viewed on pc is clear

 

My pc is using my 43 inch TV as monitor.

Fire stick using same TV.

 

Can't figure out why the live feed on firestick is such a low resolution.

 

My neos camera view clear on my firestick.

Updated firmware to 1.1.9 beta. Still blocky when viewed on firestick 4k. Resolution on fire stick set to auto upto 4k. In tapo app set to 3mp. Dont know if the alexa skill is viewing stream 0 instead of stream1. Any tech help be appreciated Regards Nigel aka designerappz

Thank you for your valuable feedback. As far as I know Alexa always use the main stream and should be on HQ resolution. 

You could try to switch to 1080P on Tapo APP, and see if there is anything different. 

 

Can you share the photos when use Alexa vs PC  to view camera on TV,  the model of your TV & Firestick thank you

Did you contact the local support or have any existing support case before? If so, may I know the TKID?

Switching to 1080p or data saving or 3mp makes no difference there all very blocky when viewed on amazon fire stick 4k.

 

My TV is 4k, the firestick is hard wired to my router.

 

But viewing neos cameras picture is perfect.

 

Tapo c210 like watching pirate dvd blocky as anything.
