Model: Archer T6E
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Recently, several customers posted that after the windows 10 1909 update, the wireless connection, especially the 5ghz connection, became very unstable; While before the update, such as on windows 10 1903, the connection had no problem at all.

So if you had the same problem, here are some suggestions

  1. Change the wireless advanced settings on the main router, like channel 40/48; channel width 40Mhz for 5ghz;
  2. Update the driver to be the latest one. And If you have Archer T3U, T2U nano, T6E, please try to update the following driver

If the above suggestions failed to work, please reply with the following details:

  1. What is the model number of your wireless adapter?
  2. Please check the system info and driver info about your computer https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2722/;
  3. What is the error message when the 5ghz connection drops out?
  4. How do you recover the internet connection, reboot the computer, or disable/enable the adapter?

Feel free to post here if you have any updates.

Thank you very much for your cooperation and support.
