Is there a tech document or a step by step instruction on how to split the two frequencies supported by the EAP 110 into separate services? I have so far just renamed the 5Ghz service by adding an "H" after the name, and then set the same password as the 2.4 Ghz service. However, the 5Ghz service is not visible to any devices scanning for WiFi connections.  The same method worked fine on my home router so I'm wondering if the EAP110 needs a further step somewhere?

Can anyone shed some light?

That model only supports 2.4 Ghz

@EdT, EAP115 is a single-band 2.4 GHz access point, too.

@R1D2 The Omada software would suggest otherwise. Below is a screenshot of the EAP115 on my network. What puzzles me is that the EAP115 shows both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz enabled. Is this just badly written software?

@EdT, click on »Access Points«, click on the EAP115, select tab »Configuration« and section »Radio«. This shows you what EAP115 provides.

 

The above screenshot shows what frequency bands the defined »Wireless Network« should use (as the header of the page clearly states).

Of course any wireless network can use the 5 GHz frequency band only on EAPs which support 5 GHz.

 

The ultimate source for features an EAP supports are the specifications. Here are the specifications for EAP115.
