Hi I recently bought Archer 3TU and installed for my workstation Hp z800 as it does not have inbuilt Wifi support.

I used the cd that came with it for installation and everything went fine.
 

My broadband Wifi router supports both 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz and its speed is 200 Mbps.

But this Archer 3TU shows only the 5 Ghz in the available networks and connects to that.

But the speed iam getting is only 10 to 20 Mbps and in the same room my mobile gets 100 Mbps

Is there a way to connect to the 2.4 Ghz bandwidth and check its speed or increase the connectivity speed of the 5 Ghz bandwidth.

Hi!

Have you ever tried the latest driver on the official website, such as

https://static.tp-link.com/2018/201811/20181109/Archer%20T3U(EUUS)_V1_180724_Win.zip

 

For the 5Ghz speed, please check the link speed on the HP computer like https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2265/ in case it limited the final download speed;

And if possible, please try to modify the main routers’ channel and channel width, like channel 48/165; channel width 80mhz  for 5ghz; channel 1/6/11, channel width 40mhz for the 2.4ghzto reduce the Wi-Fi interference;
