Hello,

I have a USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter but cannot get this to work on windows 8.1 have disabled the built in Ethernet Adapter but this has not help windows 8,1 will find the Adapter and the white light comes on but does show the connection icon on windows 8.1,

 

Any help with this would be great.

Hi, for your issue, please tell us the model number and hardware version of the adapter first.

May I know what troubleshooting step you have done to make it works?

May I know when and where you bought the adapter?

Hello,

 

I have sent the item back for a replacement as the troubleshhoter step I have tried did not fix the problem, windows 8.1 could not find the drivers that I installed from the webpage.
