I have this equipment TL-R480T+ with hardware version 4.2 according the label, this means the only option to update my firmware is the versions supported for V4.
So I cannot update to firmware 5, 6, 7 even when those are available for my region????

It's normal that devices have different hardware version. It's hard to beg for the old devices can use the latest firmware.
