How can I schedule a weekly (or nightly) reboot of TL-R470t+ router?

I tried writing an expect script in Linux (which I was going to add to crontab). It sends the username OK but fails every time ("Login failed!") when I send the password.

Is there any particular reason you'd like to do this?
Memory leak, etc? If there's an issue it should be reported and fixed in firmware.

Did not find the schedule settings on R470T+, I think this router doesn't support this function yet.

Ha, I do not know about TL-R470T+, but I had problems with 'expect' long time ago, when we tried to work with switches (t2600g-28tsv2) and it was fixed with beta-firmware after some cooperation with technical support. Probably, you have the same problem.

The reason for doing this is that it drops its internet connection every few days. Power cycling resolves the problem every time.
It has the latest firmware — from 2014 — so I really don’t think it’s going to get fixed with a firmware update.
