Model : Hardware Version : Firmware Version : ISP : Hello togehter, I use the TL-SG2008 switch for my office which is connected to a Fritzbox 7590 via Gbit connection. The switch is disconnected from the power in the evening and turned on again in the morning. The Fritzbox always stays on. When the switch starts up in the morning, Port AutoSet very often determines the 100Mbit variant. To switch on Gigabit I have to disconnect the network cable shortly. I have the same behavior even if I firmly set the speed to Gigabit. The port at the Fritzbox is set to Gigabit. I've already turned to AVM - have investigated the error and can exclude a mistake on the part of Fritzbox. There have already been other new network cables used. Same behavior. To be on the safe side, I connected a Cisco switch and drove a test for several weeks. Here I do not have this behavior. The switch always goes into gigabit mode. So it has to be on the TP-Link Switch. I strongly suspect that it is a bug in the firmwre. This is from 2015 .... Possibly, the current firmware doesnt work with the Fritzbox 7590 in the right way in AutoSet Mode? Furthermore, I still have a TL-SG108E in which also have the same error with the AutoSet Mode. I really need some help. I love TP LInk but this Bug sucks so hard. Regards, Johnny1982fd

I have TL-SG2008 and I like TP-Link too. I try to reboot the switch but the speed is still 1000M. But what I connect to the switch is PC, maybe different with Fritzbox.
As I know, if we set up the port speed as 1000M, it will not negotiate speeds of 100 meters. When the switch connects to the 100M port, the LED will not light up.
